NPOV of this page?

I have noticed that the page describes Zabdeil Adams in a way that violates the NPOV. For example, the page gives an impression that he was a great man. Please review this and edit it accordingly. Anshikuu (talk) 23:00, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

It looks like this was taken verbatim from the 1832 source, hence the "great man" tone. This can be corrected as there is much available on Zabdiel Adams, his larger-than-life character, and his wife and family. Known as "the Bishop", he was involved in a series of back and forth religious pamphlet discussions that can be mentioned to fill out his theology. And, importantly, he and Isaiah Parker, a Baptist minister, met with Mother Ann Lees, the Shaker founder in 1782. Adams interrogated the Shakers to see whether they were a military threat, and those conversations have been published in several secondary sources. Also, there is a word missing in the second paragraph -- the sentence doesn't make sense as it is currently written. Research into the original source might be necessary. I just verified that this was taken directly from the 1832 source and that the original source has a missing word in the second paragraph. One would assume that the word "impact" was intended but needs verification with the pamphlet in question. I just read an early one of his that describes the role of the Cambridge Platform and church discipline regarding ministers, and I don't think this paragraph is quite right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IPBiographer (talk • contribs) 22:54, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
