Zach Avery is within the scope of WikiProject Indiana, an open collaborative effort to coordinate work for, and sustain comprehensive coverage of the U.S. state of Indiana and related subjects on Wikipedia.
This "Edit request" discussion thread is old, as this draft article was moved from the 'drafts' area, to the 'articles' area, sometime ago. Indeed, this "Zach Avery" Wikipedia page has been completely transformed since that transition, largely due to the notoriety gained by Zach Avery from his arrest (2021) and conviction (2022). Adequate coverage in multiple sources: Swagger Magazine.com[1], Naluda Magazine[2], Occhi Magazine [3], Deadline (2019)[4], and Pop Culturalist[5]. While these aren't necessarily the most reliable, on whole I beleive this is sufficient coverage to base a competent article on. ~Kvng (talk) 15:03, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
@ Everyone & Kvng (talk) - Zach Avery was relatively unknown in 2019, when Kvng in 6 November 2019 (simultaneously writing the above comment) endorsed the creation of this "Zach Avery" Wikipedia page, by Pedrojosehv in 14 April 2019. At that stage, there was only 5 articles available as supporting references, some of which weren't necessarily the most reliable. However, since Zach Avery's arrest and sentencing for fraud, there has been an explosion of articles written about him. To date, this "Zach Avery" Wikipedia page has 48 articles from many reputable sources. The creation of this "Zach Avery" Wikipedia page, before Zach Avery's notoriety, showed a significant amount of foresight. SMargan (talk) 06:17, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

The number of children quoted for Zach Avery keeps on being changed from "one" to "two". These changes are largely made by anonymous editors and without explanation, however, these changes are persistent. The only reference, i.e. (Swagger Magazine), provided on this "Zach Avery" 'Wikipage' quotes Zach Avery as having only one son. When these anonymous editors make the change they also often change only one part, and not other parts of this "Zach Avery" 'Wikipage' that also refer to Zach Avery as only having one son. These are the two main reasons why I have continually reverted this change. It could well be that Zach Avery has had another son since the Swagger Magazine article was written, however, a solid reference source needs to be provided evidencing this assertion. Only then should the number of sons, that Zach Avery is quoted as having, be changed from one son to two, in my view. What do others think about this position. In my edits, that recently revamped this article, I found an article that refers to the number of children that Avery currently has. It appears that he now has two children. I have changed the number of children he has to reflect that fact, from one child to two children, both in this "Zach Avery" Wikipedia page's content and 'info box'. Pervious articles mentioned just one child, his son Avery (born: 2017). Those articles, some of which were published right up until the date of Zach Avery's arrest and divorce, and sentencing, must have been written before Avery had his second child. The details of that second child are unknown to me, up until the date of this post. Can anyone provide further information? SMargan (talk) 07:07, 23 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

The date of Jaxon's birth is written as "2017" in the Newsweek article[6], but "2018" in the ZGR page.[7] In am not sure which is correct, however, Newsweek seems to be a more reliable source, so that figure was used in preference. Both articles have been included as 'inline citations'[7][6] supporting this fact. More research is needed to verify Jaxon's actual birthdate. Does anyone have any ideas? NOTE: As of the date of this post, no information has been obtained on Avery's most recent second child, i.e. not even his name is known, thereby that child's birthdate is unknown as well.
