The result of the move request was: No consensus for the general, consensus for the footballer. Consensus that the footballer is not the primary topic, but no consensus that the general is - I would suggest waiting a few months and seeing whether the view disparity continues and if it does opening a new move request. – Requesting move from "Zaw Min Tun (general)" to "Zaw Min Tun" for better article visibility and to adhere standard naming practices, and also the reason is not to be confused with footballer Zaw Min Tun, but the general is generally more popular and relevant. Neither appears on ngrams or google scholars. Based on a cursory google search and the sources in each article: the general is most prominent as a voice of the military's justifications for the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état. Many sources on the general's page are primary issued by his ministry but some secondary reliable sources include diplomat article, RFA article,. Thai PBS article citing MRTV appearance, Reuters news video and Asean Post articles. In contrast for the footballer, there are sources covering him but they are mostly databases like Soccer Way and national football teams. Beyond routine coverage, I only found these non-WP:INDEPENDENT AFF Mitsubishi Cup interview and accompanying article on a cursory google search. The links to references on his page have since been deprecated and I couldn't verify any of the secondary sources used.
So, based on the lack of substantive secondary sources talking about the footballer, I think the verifiable primary topic is the general.
I also make a qualitative argument that the minister of information and the main spokesperson justifying the coup from the junta's perspective is more likely to have long-term education significance and WP:NPOV discussions relating to the coup. Absolutely, Thank You. The general is clearly the verifiable primary topic and is clearly more relevant than the footballer. He's more prominent and relevant based on his political and his voice for the stance of politics and also for the Myanmar coup d'état, he is included on many news articles and sources unlike the footballer Zaw Min Tun with lack of secondary sources and details. The general is included on many news articles and websites and more relevant and popular and hence he deserves the name Zaw Min Tun instead of the footballer who might not be as relevant as the general, as of now.
