Clean up
editI've finally come back to clean up the WP:OR and the obvious POV additions that contradicted even the cited sources, misleadingly presenting this as a great Zayyanid conquest (including a fanciful map) while leaving out the very important preceding context and following aftermath. Also cleaned up the overciting, including vague citations that looked different but were to the same sources. Added the relevant background and aftermath discussed in the sources.
From this further reading, it seems the article should probably be renamed to something more general that would cover the entire conflict (for which there is no article) rather than emphasizing a single event that receives no detailed description per WP:NOTABLE and which was not the most important and lasting consequence of this conflict (see Aftermath section). Request to delete the page
editI am making this request for deletion of the page because: In the 5 sources cited, only one source speaks of the event in question (i.e. the taking of fez of 1423) The only source that talks about it is a recent book that is based on literally nothing So please delete this page which harms the veracity and reputation of Wikipedia Gorfti (talk) 17:41, 2 September 2024 (UTC)
