Encyclopedia worthy?
editI don't want to be seen as at all critical of Mr Lukosius, and I don't doubt that he was a worthy sailor. But he was just one of the crew of a ship that captured a German U-boat. Admittedly he had an important role as part of the boarding party, but I don't think that this justifies him having an Encyclopedia entry.
On a separate issue, it says that "Six of the nine men sent, including Lukosius, survived". I presume this means "survived the war" - there were apparently no US casualties in the U-505 incident.
And another issue, the "German submarine U-505" article says there were 8 in the boarding party - this says 9. ???

- I hate to say it, but I think you may be right -- WP:1EVENT. Based on the sources now in the article, this probably should be merged to the article on the capture event itself and (sorry to say) not much would be merged. This is all unless more sources, specifically about the subject, can be found. EEng (talk) 13:02, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
