Awards

edit

The "Awards" section of this article is really flimsy, all sourced (and copyvio'd) from Zepter's own website. I wouldn't shed a tear if the entire section were cut out with a stainless steel knife made by a notable cookware and tableware accessories manufacturer. - 2001:558:1400:10:8950:6465:CD74:E8B4 (talk) 18:07, 13 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Financial and organisation information needed

edit

This article had stated a $5bn income, $2bn net income and 130,000 employees. However I wasn't able find any independent sources to verify those numbers. Therefore I'm removed those pieces of information. Nevertheless, it is still useful to find income and employee numbers. Zepter is private owned organisation that doesn't apparently have any requirement to publish annual financial statements.Seaweed (talk) 16:51, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Since yesterday I've actually spent quite a bit of time researching Zepter International. (I only started reading about Zepter after watching the Monaco F1 Grand Prix yesterday when I saw Zepter advertising around the circuit.) I have yet to find any definitive financial information on this organisation other than it is privately held. Zepter International doesn't have to release their financials if they don't want to (unlike, say, Cargill which does choose to do so.). It's surprising to see so little information on a company which claims on its website to have "over 100,000 employees and consultants". By any standards that would be very large organisation. I'm also a bit worried about the $5bn gross revenue figure that was on this page. It seems to have turned into a zombie sort-of figure that has proliferated across the web, probably from mirroring of Wikipedia. I believe that Zepter International is a substantial organisation, just maybe not of the level that this article previously suggested.Seaweed (talk) 13:24, 29 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
