Merger proposal

edit

I propose to merge Zeroth-order logic into Propositional calculus. I think that the content in the Zeroth-order logic article can easily be explained in the context of Propositional calculus, given that it is a synonym of propositional calculus, and the propositional calculus article is of a reasonable size that the merging of zeroth order logic will not cause any problems as far as article size is concerned. Logic?

edit

After reading and rereading the article I seem to understand less of its content. It might be considered to merge the useful content with the article of Boolean logic.

Naming of the logical operators

edit

I believe the naming of the logical operators should be renamed to be consistent and be shorter, my list would be:

  • NOT
  • AND
  • OR

It might be worth noting all operators can be composed of the NOT and either of the two other operators. The title is also confusing in suggesting these are the and all logical operators. They are only the most common operators.

JA: Dear Aleph4, if you read the intro, you will see that I have a specific reason for singling out this usage for special mention. Jon Awbrey 22:54, 14 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
