- Yes, I wonder. Since certain nationalists just have to ignore their own history; Turkish Postal Law changed Constantinople to Istanbul in 1930. But why use facts when you have nationalistic fervor to push an agenda? --Kansas Bear (talk) 15:28, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
A nationalistic agenda and me?! It would be like ice and fire. Whatever... Deliogul (talk) 23:37, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Ziya Gökalp was a Turk not a Zaza. 27. In his book - Kürt Aşiretleri Hakkında Sosyolojik Tetkikler, he is explaining where his ancestor came from and that he is a Turk with Seltjuk roots. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bitbyter (talk • contribs) 16:49, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Nothing you have wrote justifies your deletion of a reflist[1] or the deletion of references or referenced information.[2] You are more than welcome to indicate Kürt Aşiretleri Hakkında Sosyolojik Tetkikler's reference of her as a Turk. --Kansas Bear (talk) 16:56, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, it's was not my intention. I'am a newbe :) Can you do it for me ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bitbyter (talk • contribs) 17:04, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
The first sentence
editIt is all right to say that he is of Zaza descent, but not in the very first sentence. Doesn't he describe himself as a Turk? So why do we put his ethnic background in the very first sentence? It is the same case as in Mesut Özil. If the first sentence in this article is convenient, why don't we add his etnic background in the first sentence in the article of Mesut Özil? --Seksen iki yüz kırk beş (talk) 18:56, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
how can someone who says he is of Turkish origin be of Zaza and Kurdish origin ?
edithow can someone who says he is of Turkish origin be of Zaza and Kurdish origin ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tengrilera (talk • contribs) 03:20, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
Although he says that he is turkish with his own pen, it is stupid to write here Zaza or Kurd.
