Tarcenay (French pronunciation: [taʁsənɛ]) is a former commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Tarcenay-Foucherans.[2]

Geography
editTarcenay lies 9 km (5.6 mi) north of Ornans on the first plateau of the Jura mountains near the Loue.
