Tatyana Aleksandrovna Orlova (Russian: Татья́на Алекса́ндровна Орло́ва; born July 1, 1956, Sverdlovsk, Sverdlovsk Oblast, RSFSR, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian theatre, television and film actress.[1] Honored Artist of the City of Moscow (2015).[2] Merited Artist of the Russian Federation (2018).[3] She is best known for her role as secretary Tamara Kozhemyatko in the sitcom Daddy's Daughters.[4][5]

Biography
editShe was born on July 1, 1956, in Sverdlovsk. The girl was raised by her mother, since her father died early.
In 1977, she graduated from GITIS (course of Andrey Goncharov). In the same year, she was accepted into the troupe of the Mayakovsky Theatre, where she received mainly supporting roles.
Having made her film debut in 1988, Orlova has played more than 40 roles in 22 years and continues to actively act.
After 50 years, she was offered the role of secretary Tamara in the sitcom Daddy's Daughters for the STS channel. For this work, the actress was noticed and began to be offered many other character roles in various projects: One for All, Give Youth!, Voronin's Family, While the Fern Blooms, A Little Out of Her Mind, Think Like a Woman, Beanpole and others.
With the arrival of a new artistic director, Mindaugas Karbauskis, at the Mayakovsky Theatre, Tatyana Orlova was offered the leading role for the first time. Nikita Kobelev's production of Berdichev based on the play of the same name by Friedrich Gorenstein, which premiered on February 20, 2014, was immediately positively received by the audience and most theatre critics, and the actress herself won several prestigious prizes and awards for her role as Rakhil Kaptsan.[6][7][8][9]
Personal life
editTatyana Orlova is not married. She has no children. She does not discuss personal topics.
Orlova lives very modestly with her close friend Tatyana Potapova. The actress has an apartment in an ordinary five-story building on the outskirts of Moscow. She has been driving a car since 1994. In addition to theater and cinema, Orlova loves painting.[5]
