Tektaş is a village in the Pazar District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 205 (2021).[2]

History
editAccording to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Bogina, which means "highland house" in Laz language. Most villagers are ethnically Hemshin.[3]

editThe village is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) away from Pazar.
