The codes for all teams in the West Division are as follows:
- Boston Bruins = BOS
- Buffalo Sabres = BUF
- Detroit Red Wings = DET
- Montreal Canadiens = MON
- New York Rangers = NYR

- Vancouver Canucks = VAN
