The following are the codes for the teams in the SHL:

• AIK – AIK
• BIF – Brynäs IF
• FBK – Färjestad BK
• FHC – Frölunda HC
• HV71 – HV71
• LHC – Linköpings HC
• LIF – Leksands IF
• LHF – Luleå HF
• MODO – Modo Hockey
• SAIK – Skellefteå AIK
• VLH – Växjö Lakers
• ÖHK – Örebro HK  (OHK also works)
