This template is used to generate an external link to the Netherlands Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) for a specific airport. These links change every 28 days and the template calculates the correct URL based on the current date.

Usage

1. (unnamed) – airport's ICAO location identifier, i.e. EHAM
2. name (optional) – airport's location, i.e. AMSTERDAM/Schiphol (as shown in the AIP).

Examples

Short version (used in airport lists):

• Usage: {{AIP NL|EHAM}}
• Result: EHAM

Long version (used in airport articles):

• Usage: {{AIP NL|EHAM|name=AMSTERDAM/Schiphol}}
• Result: EHAM – AMSTERDAM/Schiphol. AIP from AIS the Netherlands, effective 11 July 2024

Technical information

The AIP is updated on a 28-day cycle as per the ICAO. For the online version of the Netherlands AIPs this causes a change in the URL involving a publication date formatted as YYYY-MM-DD. The publication date is 42 days prior to the AIRAC effective date. This template uses the current date (presently 15 Jul 2024) to calculate the publication date and effective date. The following is a list for the current and upcoming AIRAC cycles:

• 2024-05-30 — effective 11 Jul 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2408)
• 2024-06-27 — effective 08 Aug 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2409)
• 2024-07-25 — effective 05 Sep 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2410)
• 2024-08-22 — effective 03 Oct 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2411)
• 2024-09-19 — effective 31 Oct 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2412)
• 2024-10-17 — effective 28 Nov 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2413)
• 2024-11-14 — effective 26 Dec 2024 (AIRAC cycle 2501)
• 2024-12-12 — effective 23 Jan 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2502)
• 2025-01-09 — effective 20 Feb 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2503)
• 2025-02-06 — effective 20 Mar 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2504)
• 2025-03-06 — effective 17 Apr 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2505)
• 2025-04-03 — effective 15 May 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2506)
• 2025-05-01 — effective 12 Jun 2025 (AIRAC cycle 2507)
