As we've been over many, many times before at WP:RM: The WP:COMMONNAME policy (part of WP:AT) tells us what the most common name is (e.g. "{{{1}}}" vs. "{{{2}}}"); once we know what it is, WP:MOS tells us how to style it (e.g. "{{{1}}}" vs. "{{{3}}}"). WP:AT, and its topical naming-convention guidelines, explicitly defer to MOS on style matters.
Usage
editThis template inserts the above text, usually in WP:RM discussions, but can be used in other talk page posts. Obviates the need to keep repeating this. Takes four mandatory parameters:
|1= the real common name, unstyled
|2= an obviously not common name that could apply to the topic, unstyled
|3= a differently styled version of the common name
If not using in RM discussions, the following will suppress the "at WP:RM" text:
|rm=no
