This template is used to generate a linked abbreviation for sporting events (esp. football) with special ending conditions. Its most common use is to produce "(a.e.t.)", meaning "after extra time", indicating that the score shown is after the completion of overtime play. By default, the indicator has a piped link to Extra time (association football).
