This is template to insert a link to Overtime (sports)#Basketball in basketball scores.

If the game took more than one period of overtime to be done, use {{(OT)|num=x}}, with x being the number of periods, most commonly 2. For games that took only one overtime period to be done, usually {{(OT)}} suffices.

Examples:

• {{(OT)}} becomes (OT)
• {{(OT)|num=2}} becomes (2OT)
• {{(OT)|num=3}} becomes (3OT)
• {{(OT)|num=6}} becomes (6OT) (the game with the most overtime periods in the NBA)
