Template:Cathead navy ships/doc

This template is for creating a standardized appearance for categories of naval ships by navy, and categorized in Category:Ships by navy.

Syntax

{{ Cathead navy ships| Navy | Country | <sortkey1> | <sortkey2> | <the=yes> }}

Usage

Only the first and second parameters are mandatory.

1. Navy is the name of the navy.
2. Country is the name of the country.
3. <sortkey1> is the sort key for Category:Ships by navy (default: <Navy>).
4. <sortkey2> is the sort key for Category:Naval ships of <the> <Country>, preceded by star character '*' (default: "Navy").
5. If parameter <the> is set, with any value, the definite article will be placed in front of the country name. Leave blank if not needed.
