Usage

This template creates a citation to the Global Compositae Database by wrapping {{Cite web}}.

Copy and paste

{{cite GCD |title= |id= |access-date=2024-09-3}}

Other parameters from the citation templates can be used, e.g. |mode=cs2 creates a CS2 style citation, the default being CS1.

The double ".." is needed because of the way that {{Cite web}} behaves; its presence ensures that a stop/period appears as part of the botanical abbreviation.

Double ".." is not needed with CS2 style citations.
