This template is used to provide a link to the online version of the Dictionary of Welsh Biography (DWB) (https://biography.wales/) containing details of over 5,000 biographies of individuals associated with Wales.

Note: The shortcut version is "Cite DWB", not "DWB" as that template is used for something else.

Some articles may have multiple entries. |fewer-links=yes can be used to remove the repeated internal wikilinks from any additional and subsequent instances of the template:

Löffler, Marion (8 June 2016). "HALL, BENJAMIN Lord Llanover (1802-1867), politician and reformer". Dictionary of Welsh Biography. National Library of Wales. Retrieved 16 November 2024.

Some articles may use abbreviations for sources which are used extensively. |short=yes can be used to replace 'Dictionary of Welsh Biography' and 'National Library of Wales' with the abbreviation 'DWB'.:
{{Dictionary of Welsh Biography|id=s11-HALL-BEN-1802|title=HALL, BENJAMIN Lord Llanover (1802-1867), politician and reformer|first=Marion|last=Löffler|date=8 June 2016|short=yes|access-date=16 November 2024}} displays as:
