12-6 elbow
edit... that 12-6 elbows are illegal in MMA on the grounds that "the clock doesn't move"?

- Interesting topic, long/neutral enough, adequate sourcing, though it needs a bit of copyediting (there were a few run-on sentences). However, I have a problem with the hook, as it somewhat contradicts what is said in the body (i.e. the hook says its illegal because the clock doesn't move, but the body text says its not illegal in a certain circumstance because the clock doesn't move).
- ALT 1. ... that in mixed martial arts, 12-6 elbows are legal if the fighter is on his back because "the clock doesn't move"?
- ALT 2.
... that the rule forbidding 12-6 elbows under the Unified Rules of MMA has been criticized for being worded too strictly?
