1940 Sun Bowl

... that the 1940 contest between The Catholic University of America and the Arizona State Teachers College at Tempe was the only scoreless tie in Sun Bowl history?

Length and date are fine. No QPQ required. Will AGF for offline references but the hook fact is not directly suported by a citation either in the lede or the body of the article. Additionally there is an unused ref (named "ruth") that needs fixing. Should be a relatively quick fix. I've added wikilinks to the hook for the teams involved and the Sun Bowl itself- Basement12 (T.C) 02:10, 9 August 2014 (UTC)

Thanks, Basement. I added a citation and hid the unused ref. There was an article that talks about the game in that paper on that day, but it doesn't support any fact in the article. Someone else might want ot look it up and add it someday, though. --Briancua (talk) 19:25, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
