1976 Michigan Wolverines football team
edit- ...
that the 1976 Michigan football team led by Rick Leach (pictured) ended the season ranked first in the country in both scoring offense and scoring defense? - alt 1 ... that 21 players from the 1976 Michigan football team went on to play in the NFL, and another (pictured) opted instead to play Major League Baseball?

- Thanks for the review Muboshgu. The problem with identifying and linking Rick Leach is that it will divert readers from the featured pages which is the 1976 team. The purpose of DYK is to draw eyes to the newly-created/expanded article. The Leach article is not very good, and linking to it will lead people there instead. For that reason, I prefer sticking with the alt 1 hook. If people want to know the name of the person pictured, they can either find the information by clicking on the 1976 team article or by clicking on the photo itself.
