2nd Missouri Infantry Regiment (Confederate)
- ... that during the Siege of Vicksburg, Francis M. Cockrell (pictured), former commander of the 2nd Missouri Infantry Regiment (Confederate), stated the the regiment "died once, and can die again"? Source 28 in the text, Tucker 1993 and Source 10 in the text, McGhee 2008.
Source 10 is for commander of the regiment, 28 for everything else

- Hi Hog Farm, review follows: article created 12 June; article is of good length and well written; article is cited inline throughout to reliable sources; happy to AGF that there is no copyright violation fromt he sources; I agree, the hook proposed is excellent; hook is mentioned in article and cited, AGF that source supports this; I've cropped the image to remove the original border and caption; I couldn't see evidence on the image that it was published anywhere before 1925, but as an 1864 photograph it would be PD by virtue of it being 70+ years after the death of the photographer; a QPQ has been carried out.
