Overall:
Looks good as far as I can understand all that technical jargon. I added the image to the hook so the promoting editor can decide whether to use it or not. The hook is reasonably interesting but could benefit from some abbreviating, e.g.
... that the RAF's AMES Type 85 radar (pictured)
was considered obsolete by the time it became operational? Regards
