Aldersbach brewery
... that Aldersbach brewery, opened in 1268, is one of the oldest breweries in the world?Source: Blackwood, Bev (19 December 2017). "Aldersbacher Brewery". The Beer Connoisseur. Retrieved 18 August 2020.

- New enough, long enough, hook cited, QPQ done. Passes earwig. --evrik (talk) 16:56, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- This doesn't seem so hooky. If it was founded in 1268, it's obviously pretty old. Maybe add another fact while describing it as

- @Yoninah: How about the new hook? ~ Amkgp 💬 14:41, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- That's much better. Is there a reason why the awards are italicized and lowercase?
- However, there's no inline cite for the founding date of 1268. Yoninah (talk) 14:57, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: italicized removed and the inline cite for founding date is provided. See [1] Blackwood, Bev (19 December 2017). "Aldersbacher Brewery". The Beer Connoisseur. Retrieved 18 August 2020. and for the award [2] "Golden Beer Idea - Laureate 1999-2017" (PDF). Bavarian Brewers Association. ~ Amkgp 💬 15:05, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Please add the source for the opening date to the article. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 15:07, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: refs appended ~ Amkgp 💬 15:22, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I'm not sure what you just did. There is no inline cite for the date of 1268. The lead also needs more mention of notability, like the kinds of beers it produces or the awards it has won. Yoninah (talk) 15:25, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Added inline cite [3] to hook. Kinds of beers it produces is provided in infobox under 'active beers' and 'seasonal beers' and there is a separate section of 'Awards'. Is that is sufficient? Anyways, I have added beer types in lead with ref. Also, an additional proof for opening in 1268. See → Sauber, Wolfgang (23 August 2016). "Aldersbach ( Lower Bavaria ). "Beer in Bavaria" exhibition ( 2016 ): Document ( 1268 ) as first proof of the production of beer at Aldersbach abbey". added in article ~ Amkgp 💬 15:47, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I don't think I'm making myself clear. No cites are needed in the lead for uncontroversial statements. Cites also do not belong in the infobox. I'm moving them out to the body of the article.
- Footnotes 1 and 3 only verify that the brewery was in existence in 1268; they do not verify that it was established in 1268. When you offer new sources during the review, you need to add them to the article, not to this template. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:18, 22 August 2020 (UTC)

- @Yoninah: How about this new hook? ~ Amkgp 💬 18:43, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
- I was thinking about that, but they must have won other awards in their 750-year history. Let's try something else. These facts are all cited:
