All Saints Church, Thornton Hough

edit

All Saints Church, Thornton Hough

  • ... that an additional clock face was added at a higher level to the tower of All Saints Church, Thornton Hough (pictured) because its founder could not see the lower one from his house?

Created by Peter I. Vardy (talk). Self nominated at 16:47, 25 November 2013 (UTC).

  • Article - created new on 25 November, so new enough; 3115 characters of readable prose, so long enough; neutral; at least one inline citation to every paragraph; no copy vios detected using earwig/duplication detector; assessed as c class, so not a stub.
  • Hook - within length criteria at 182 characters, including (pictured); correctly formatted; correctly cited/supported by ref #4 in middle of paragraph sub-headed Exterior in the 'Architecture' section, also AGF ref #5; and interesting.
  • QPQ done; image license is CC-SA-2.0 so no problem.

Everything seems to check out. SagaciousPhil - Chat 09:16, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
