- Yes, I did, like everybody else. There must be a better hook! (just commenting, not reviewing)Johnbod (talk) 02:23, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
- I also knew that and agree with Johnbod that there are better hooks out there. These might feauture the less visible Jewish cuisines in America, such as Sephardic, Arabic, Ethiopian and other culinary influences from the Diaspora. Morganfitzp (talk) 20:30, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
- New review needed. See alt below. North America1000 02:32, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that within American Jewish cuisine, whether a person prefers their gefilte fish to be savory or sweet may correlate with which region of Eastern Europe their ancestors came from? (Source)
- Interesting hook. Could be tightened up and have a more definitive punch than "may correlate" (because it also might not correlate). Here's an example:
- ALT2: ... that American Jewish cuisine has been influenced by a geographical gefilte fish line?
- ...which is a bit mysterious—a mystery that may correlate to a lot of mouse clicks! Morganfitzp (talk) 03:05, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hello. Just thought I'd chime in. I think ALT2 or something similar would be good. As Morganfitzp said, it's punchy, and slightly mysterious. — Mudwater (Talk) 14:01, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- ALT2 is pretty good. Maybe needs a bit more context, or maybe not. Nb. Struck the first "boring" hook atop. North America1000 14:17, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

- Sounds like folks are good with ALT2. I hereby recommend this for DYK. Morganfitzp (talk) 17:19, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Morganfitzp: Just a note that a full review that addresses all of the points of the WP:DYKRULES will be needed for this to actually move forward. North America1000 01:32, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
