Andrés Muschietti
edit- ... that Andrés Muschietti's short Mamá with "scariest" scenes inspired Guillermo del Toro to make a feature length film?
- ALT1:... that 2013 film Mama was a directorial debut by Andrés Muschietti?

- The article is new enough (created on July 17), and large enough (2800+ chars of prose).
- The ALT1 hook is fairly uninteresting. The original hook is fine but may appear a bit confusing: the context of the "scariest" quote is unclear (the article makes it clear that these are del Toro's words). The del Toro's quote is genuinely interesting, so I'd suggest a minor rewrite of that part of the article (see article talk) and possibly a new hook, such as:
ALT2:... that Guillermo del Toro described Andrés Muschietti's short Mamá as "one of the scariest ... I've ever seen"?
- ...or even:
ALT3:... that Guillermo del Toro described Andrés Muschietti's short Mamá as "really, really scary"?
- ...or something along these lines. I'll continue the review later today. GregorB (talk) 10:05, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, so: nothing wrong with the article's content and structure, no cleanup tags or outstanding issues. No BLP problems. Inline referencing throughout, valid sources.
- QPQ not done.
- So taking care of hooks and QPQ still needed for promotion, fine in all other departments. GregorB (talk) 18:57, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- @GregorB: QPQ is done. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 02:07, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Captain Assassin!, QPQ is fine, but now we have the issue of hooks - ALT0 is a bit awkward, ALT1 is uninteresting, while ALT2 and 3 are not supported by the text (naturally, being just my suggestions). Would you agree with the suggestion in the article's talk? GregorB (talk) 18:25, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- ALT4: ... that Andrés Muschietti's short Mamá attracted Guillermo del Toro, which he describes as "scariest," to executive produce the feature length Mama?
- @GregorB: ALT4 is suggested. I've rewrite the fact in the article. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 18:45, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that the current wording of the rewritten part is rather awkward, and so is ALT4. Also, ALT4 says "inspired", while the source says "attracted" and "convinced" - not quite the same. Please give me 48 hours to (hopefully) think of something. (Of course, you're welcome to make changes as you see fit.) GregorB (talk) 19:35, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Okay, I've tweaked the article's wording and changed "inspired" to "attracted" in ALT4. I've crossed out hooks which are not applicable. The article is fine (I've also made spotchecks for close paraphrasing, which I've forgotten to mention), the hooks are generally fine (I hope - I still feel some of them are awkward, but I couldn't really think of anything better at this point), so this should be good to go then. - I can only just understand alt4, I think its trying to say that
- ALT5: ... that the feature film Mama was based on Andrés Muschietti's "scariest" short film?
- Feel free to use alt4 but I think it tells me too much and in a complex way Victuallers (talk) 21:27, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
