  • The article is new enough, having been created on 3 August and nominated the following day. It is long enough, with close to 2,000 characters. It complies with the core policies concerning neutrality and copyright/paraphrasing, and the sourcing is generally good (except for some issues mentioned below). The hook's format and content are both suitable. I have to assume good faith on the citation for the hook and the referencing in general, as all of the references are at a subscription site. QPQ has been completed.
The problem which needs to be addressed is that the first paragraph of the biography is unsourced. The information in the lead (date of birth, date of death and move to the US) and a statement about her "strong desire to learn new things" are also unsourced. The other issue I would like to see addressed is the chronology. Reading the biography, we first learn about the illness she suffered at age 12, then jump to her getting a scholarship at age 64. At first glance it looked as if there was an error in one or more of the dates, but then I realized it is not in chronological order. I know it is being used as an example of her desire to learn, but it is somewhat confusing. In general there is not much information given on when things in her life happened. Thanks for your input. I have added citations in both the first paragraph. I have also restructured the information more chronologically. Thanks for taking the time to review this page.Alexislynn(BYU) (talk) 17:15, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
It reads much better now. Thanks for the improvements. I will give this the AGF tick since I cannot access most of the references. AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 04:04, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
