Athena Farrokhzad
edit... that Athena Farrokhzad's (pictured) hosting of the Sveriges Radio show Sommar i P1 made the Moderate Party's Gunnar Axén react by getting rid of his television to stop paying the television license?

- New enough (30 August), long enough (2088 characters), fully referenced. Hook verified against online (Swedish) source. Image has an appropriate licence. QPQ done. Good to go! Hawkeye7 (talk) 07:52, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
- Is it just me, or does that hook desperately need to be reworded? I guess it needs either a possessive added (Athena Farrokhzad's) or the "of" removed. And Axén reacting to Farrokhzad by getting rid of his TV would make sense as a protest, but then he did it to stop paying the television license. It looks like the real reason was to protest the license fee, and it was merely prompted by Farrokhzad. Is that correct? MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 08:59, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

- Adding an apostrophe-s fixes it grammatically. But the hook still didn't seem logical to me, until I read about television licensing in Sweden. Is it that he didn't like what she said on the radio, so he got rid of his TV so he could stop paying the TV license fee, which also supports radio programming? If so, that's a little complicated and hard to express in 200 characters. But maybe it is just me. If it seems okay to others, go for it. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 20:46, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- I think I will leave it up for the user who closes this DYK if the hook is OK or not. I am not sure myself, but I guess it is no big worry either.--BabbaQ (talk) 20:51, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that after Athena Farrokhzad (pictured) hosted a show on Sveriges Radio, the Moderate Party's Gunnar Axén reacted by getting rid of his TV to stop paying the TV license, which also supports radio?
- Is that better? Since I don't know Swedish, is this okay according to the source? The article doesn't currently have the part about the TV license funding radio, so that would have to be added. The television licensing in Sweden article references it to another Swedish source. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 22:36, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, that sounds better. Thank you for your assistance.--BabbaQ (talk) 22:51, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- I found a source in English which explained the licensing, so I've added a sentence to the article with that ref. The additional information which I included in ALT1 is now supported. It should be fine now, if Hawkeye7 or someone else would like to verify ALT1. (I've struck the original hook.) MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 22:31, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
