Ben Kuhl

edit

1917 mugshot of Ben Kuhl

  • ... that Ben Kuhl (mugshot pictured) took part in the last horse drawn stagecoach robbery in the United States?

(new reviewer) Ref[1] for the hook states that it was not a stagecoach, only a stage wagon. Explaining this myth would also be interesting. Also the Jarbidge Stage Robbery was not a stagecoach. Another hook could be about first use of palm prints. Article long enough, age ok, citations ok. Zeete (talk) 14:38, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
  • ALT2: ... that Ben Kuhl (mugshot pictured) took part in the last horse drawn coach robbery in the United States? --Rosiestep (talk) 03:36, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
  • ALT3: ... that in State v. Ben Kuhl (mugshot pictured), precedent was set, extending identification of individuals in criminal cases to include palm prints, not just fingerprints? --Rosiestep (talk) 03:36, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
Ref[1] does not support hook (stagecoach) or ALT2 (coach). Ref[1] states "a small, mail stage wagon pulled by two horses". ALT3 is supported by Ref[1]. Zeete (talk) 15:14, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
  • So is ALT3 ok, or are you asking me to do something? --Rosiestep (talk) 02:14, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
  • You could change the article to agree with Ref[1], "Staging a Robbery Without a Coach", and point out the myth. You might also incorporate more of Case Number 606 into the article. As it is, the first sentence of the article does not agree with Ref[1], and it was not a stagecoach or coach, but a small, mail stage wagon. Zeete (talk) 15:03, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
  • I see what you mean, and I think I made all the suggested changes. --Rosiestep (talk) 03:08, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
ALT3 about palm print precedent being set is good to go. (original hook and ALT2 not accepted) Zeete (talk) 10:24, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
