Ben Orloff

edit

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by Muboshgu (talk). Self nominated at 01:22, 18 February 2013 (UTC).

  • I would consider the external links section as a general reference to sources, which is also implied by {{no footnotes}}. Aim for 5x expansion, which the article is anyways close to.—Bagumba (talk) 23:39, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
  • It's come up before in discussion elsewhere (too busy to devote time to finding it, I have somebody coming to see me at any moment), but according to DYK external links like baseball stat pages don't count towards referencing. I could dig that up, but it might just be faster to complete the 5x, since this is just a hair under. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:59, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Got a no-show, it would seem. So, here is a discussion about unreferenced meaning no inline citations. But, I added a little text to the article and it is now 5.01x expanded. I also provided QPQ. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:11, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Size expansion for 5x checks out and article looks fine. However, the hook is misleading. It reads like he set an overall college baseball record while playing at UCI, when in fact he only set school records. Please reword for clarity.—Bagumba (talk) 19:19, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Fair point. Done. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:53, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
  • Modified hook is OK.—Bagumba (talk) 21:59, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
