- I'm sorry I do not know how to use the DYK template and for this reason have never participated in a DYK before. I would like to award several bubble teas and kittens to George for the nom, but I wonder if ... that a Welsh singer Bessie Jones was the first to record Noël Coward's earliest lyric "Peter Pan" from the revue Tails Up!? might also be okay In ictu oculi (talk) 03:03, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- You must verify that fact with the source. Otherwise, don't. George Ho (talk) 03:04, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, I do not know the DYK process at all so I will just sit back and watch. Thanks George. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:54, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- ALT HOOK: ... that Welsh singer Bessie Jones was the first to record Noël Coward's earliest stage lyric, "Peter Pan", from the revue Tails Up!? [This is verified by footnote 7 in the article]. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:13, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
- Nice article on good sources, offline sources accepted AGF. Hook seems interesting for people who know Tails Up. I could imagine one about her singing of Wagner and early recording of Welsh folk songs. Ideas? - Article: I don't see at first glance any connection between the poster and her, hint hint, - see Percy Grainger, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:54, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
- We are not using the image as a lead hook. Fortunately, I shrunk the image, and I can see her name among cast names, and I moved the image to section. You can remove the image if you wish, as the image is the minor, less relevant issue. As for Welsh songs, I won't do much, so I'll leave it to contributors. - Certainly the most encyclopedic thing about this singer is that she was the first person who ever recorded a Noel Coward song. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:41, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for moving the image!
