Black and Blue (Better Call Saul)
- ... that the inclusion of a toilet in a vacant office from the episode "Black and Blue" was based on a 30 year old story from Vince Gilligan? - Comment: Don't really know how to word the hook.

- I can confirm that it was promoted to GA status a few days before the nomination. The Indie Wire source is the only hit I find when checking for plagiarism, and it's just properly-attributed quotes in the article. QPQ has been done. I haven't fully checked the hook yet but I think it's marginally intriguing: it seems to assume that the reader knows who Gilligan is, when neither the hook nor the article state who he is or how he is important. I would also suggest clarifying this is an episode of Better Call Saul (no need to link to it if you don't want to) since readers unfamiliar with the series may not know what show is this. I do have some ideas on how to improve the hook but I'll wait first for the nominator's response before discussing them. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 15:31, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
- Upon thinking about this nomination a bit more I'm afraid I have to state that I'm leaning towards rejecting the nomination altogether. The original hook seems to be targeted towards a specialist audience (i.e. fans of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul) rather than a non-specialist audience. It doesn't seem like it would intrigue readers unfamiliar with the series. I did try to think up of suggestions from other parts of the article, including a possible hook about the boxing scenes, but upon further reflection I think such options too would not intrigue non-specialist audiences. - @Narutolovehinata5: If you think then I guess we can just fail this. I can't think of much that could really be considered interesting so I guess it's over for this. Onegreatjoke (talk) 17:57, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
