ALT 1: ... that Bristol County Jail (pictured) probably doubled as a home for the jailer's family?

New enough after GA promotion, length not a criterion. Within policy: a good part of the description follows that in the National Register source referred to[1] but I think it has been sufficiently reworded to avoid plagiarism or copyright infringement. Hook: I think I prefer the original because "probably" (the source says "are believed to") weakens alt1 too much. I think it once being a jail is hooky enough. There is no review linked for QPQ but the nomination was before the rule change (or is an exemption claimed?). The photo has been freely licensed by the uploader (with many good uploads). It has no EXIF but is the highest resolution I can find on the web. I couldn't find "added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973" in the source supplied but I'm sure it's true! I'm striking the ALT1 hook to make my opinion clearer. Thincat (talk) 12:19, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
