Burger King premium burgers
edit- ...that international fast food restaurant chain Burger King has been trying to add a premium burger to its menu since 1979?
- ALT1:...that international fast food restaurant chain Burger King has been trying to add a premium burger to its menu for the past 45 years?

5x expanded by Jerem43 (talk). Self nominated at 08:55, 21 July 2014 (UTC).
- Per DYK Checker: the 5x expansion began 37 days ago, not 7 days ago. —/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 09:24, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
- Where does the policy state the work needs to be done in five days? From the various input I have received from other DYK nominations the standard is that the expansion must have been completed within the last five days, not that the expansion took five days. --Jeremy (blah blah • I did it!) 17:25, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
- Before we go on: "5 days" was changed to "7 days" about a month back. But I'm afraid that the expansion has to have begun within 7 days before the nomination date i.e. 7 days before nomination, the article must have been no more than 1/5 of what it is now. It's part of this insane focus on "new content" which for no reason whatsoever celebrates things done in a hurry. I think it's absolutely ridiculous, but them's the rules.
However, if you're clever you can get around this in the future. Take a copy into your sandbox, work on it there for as long as you want, then move the new version all at once to the live article. See? You made an expansion within 7 days! Instantly, in fact! No kidding -- that's completely allowed under DYK rules -- articles developed in secret without the participation of other editors get a free pass. It's all so logical.
