Can't Stop the Feeling
edit... that the first video for Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" features Anna Kendrick, James Corden and Gwen Stefani?
ALT1:... that Justin Timberlake will perform "Can't Stop the Feeling" during the interval act of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016?ALT2:... that with a performance of "Can't Stop the Feeling!", Justin Timberlake became the first non-contestant to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest?- ALT3:... that Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" became the 26th song in history to debut at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100?

I'm afraid only ALT2 is actually even mentioned within the article body, and isn't particularly interesting. Snuggums (talk / edits) 13:59, 10 May 2016 (UTC)- Changed hooks. ALT2 is like a thing now. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 02:24, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- ALT2 now is much more interesting as it represents a first in history. It is a well-referenced and neutral hook that has no copyright issues or close paraphrasing. The article is also well over 1,500 characters long and was created within the past week. I can now gladly approve of this. Snuggums (talk / edits) 04:37, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
- NOTE: The performance in question is on May 14th, so whoever takes this to DYK prep is free to change the hook to past tense if it ends up on main page after that date. Snuggums (talk / edits) 16:16, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
Reopened, see discussion at WT:DYK. Nearly every year, a non-contestant performs at the interval between the artists and the results of the voting. Timberlake was the first "Global Superstar" (sic!) to do so, not the first artist in general. Fram (talk) 08:02, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, Fram. For those who want a shortcut to the discussion, here's it: WT:DYK#Removed sourced nonsense from Prep 1. --PFHLai (talk) 09:54, 17 May 2016 (UTC)
- I've struck ALT2 above as Fram has shown it to be incorrect. @Cornerstonepicker: Do you have any other ideas for a hook? 97198 (talk) 10:49, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
- I added a new one. Btw, sorry for the misleading fact, pretty sure I wrote 'known' replacing 'big superstar', nevermind. Cornerstonepicker (talk) 19:53, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
