Captain Ahab (Moby-Dick)
edit- ...
that Melville used characters from Shakespeare, Milton, Sophocles and Aeschylus to create Captain Ahab (Moby-Dick)?
- ALT1:... that British censorship destroyed the comparison of Captain Ahab to Milton's Satan?
- ALT2:... that Melville's Captain Ahab (Moby-Dick) was the model for J.M. Barrie's Captain Hook?

- Why has no one thought of writing this before? An excellent article for DYK. Date and length fine. AGF on book source. QPQ not needed as nominator has no credits. I think that ALT1 is the better hook. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 10:22, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
