  • Various copy edits made. I'm not greatly impressed by any of the hooks, and "Pennsylvania, USA" or something like that should be added anyway; there is no surplus suspense value in leaving that out. I suppose ALT is the most attractive since deep-muck soils sounds kind of dirty; if the DYK volunteer who sends this on is a biologist they may prefer the first hook. (All hooks are verified.)

    Long enough, new enough. I have found no obvious plagiarism, though the paraphrasing from source 3 is a bit close in places. The sources verify the content well enough. Pass it on. Drmies (talk) 01:34, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
