Cheap Lab
- ... that Hong Kong retailer Cheap Lab allows its retail staff to manage its Facebook fan page and interact with customers online? Source: Ming Pao (in Chinese) – 但「執笠倉」卻不同,其員工會在facebook專頁上載部分新貨品的相片,以吸引粉絲注意;甚至自拍短片,示範產品特色或優點。

- Perhaps additional clarification on the hook fact is needed? I can imagine that retail staff handling Facebook fanpages is not uncommon in business, at least for smaller-scale ones. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:42, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
- I agree that some context may be lost in translation. I've clarified the hook fact in the article. The cited Ming Pao article notes that very few similar retailers of stationery and household items use social media, and those that do rarely update their pages. feminist (talk) 14:16, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- Maybe that aspect could be added to the hook? Including contrast to the hook could help it stand out and give it flavor. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:29, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that unlike most competitors in Hong Kong, stationery retailer Cheap Lab allows its retail staff to manage its Facebook fan page with few restrictions? feminist (talk) 04:01, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- That sounds a lot better; however the sentences supporting it don't have the relevant footnotes supporting them. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:01, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

- Thanks. All DYK article requirements for newness, length, paraphrasing, sourcing, and hook interest are met, and a QPQ has been provided. I'm assuming good faith for the Chinese-language source, although Google Translate appears to confirm the information. ALT1 is approved, although I'd suggest a slight revision to clarify that most of its competitors rarely use Facebook at all. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 14:11, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
