Chiara Daraio
- ... that Chiara Daraio has used Newton's cradle to create "sound bullets", and ball-bearing-filled walls to create one-way barriers for sound? Sources: sound bullets, ball bearing one-way sound walls.

- Article is long enough (1776 characters), new enough (created on 28 Feb, nominated on 1 March), and article is within policy
- Hook is short enough, interesting to a wide audience (as a newton's cradle is well known), and well cited (between the 2 cites)
- QPQ done
- Overall, this nomination passes, congratulations. Joseph2302 (talk) 17:29, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but while the first hook fact is verified, the source for the second hook fact about the ball-bearing-filled walls does not say that it is Daiaro's research; she is just quoted as someone at Caltech. Perhaps there is a link to a paper she wrote about it? Yoninah (talk) 16:39, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
- The source had a link but it is broken. I added a second source that names her as lead author. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:23, 22 March 2020 (UTC)
