Cichla temensis

  • ... that the two common names for Cichla temensis, being "speckled peacock bass" and "three-barred peacock bass", is due to the dramatic change in appearance the fish experiences during breeding season?

  • Unfortunately from what I am seeing, the current increase of size is only from 1702 characters to 6291 characters. A full 5x expansion would be at 8,510 characters. Its important to remember DYK rules target character count and not word count.--Kevmin § 18:43, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
