- Comment: I'm fully open to other hooks if someone has something better.

- This article is new enough and long enough. The original hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright problems. Striking ALT1 because not all elements of it are in the article. QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 21:08, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see the hook fact in the article or in the sources. Could you point me to the sentence and the source? The two citations listed above read like promotions for the circus. They both seem to indicate that Cirque de la Symphonie has increased public interest in Cirque de la Symphonie, not in local symphony performances. Yoninah (talk) 22:26, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- You're right, I think I rewrote the hook so many times I obscured my original thought and got farther away from the source than I meant to. There's not really an elegant way to say "oh neat, lots of people come see this show who wouldn't normally come see the symphony" which is sort of what I was originally trying to aim at. And frankly I still can't really find a good way to say that, so let me throw up a complete alternate:
- ALT2:
... that contemporary circus troupe Cirque de la Symphonie deliberately maintains a minimalist aesthetic in order to ensure that the symphony orchestras they work with are given equal prominence during their performances?
- ALT2:
- [4] and [5] I think that's actually more interesting anyway. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 23:04, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Premeditated Chaos: thank you, that's much better. But it's well over 200 characters, so I suggest trimming it to:
- ALT2a: ... that contemporary circus troupe Cirque de la Symphonie deliberately maintains a minimalist aesthetic to give equal prominence to the symphony orchestras that accompany their performances?
- ALT2a hook ref verified and cited inline. Rest of review per Cwmhiraeth. ALT2a good to go. Yoninah (talk) 19:46, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
