Clovelly Lifeboat Station
edit- ... that residents in the English village of Clovelly operated their own rescue services from 1988–98, because Clovelly Lifeboat Station (pictured) was closed by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution?
- Comment: There is some difference between sources. The RNLI said there was a ten year gap between operation, whereas eight years was cited by Clovelly's visitor centre. As it is a RNLI station, I've gone with their figure.

- Article created on 27th Dec and nominated for DYK on the 28th Dec. Article is not quite long enough (I will work on this in a moment), it is neutral with lots of in-line citations. I found no evidence of copyright violations. The hook it cited, it is interesting and is fewer than 200 characters. Not sure on QPQ - @Jolly Janner: is this your first nomination? Image is free to use. ツStacey (talk) 18:21, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
- Good to go: if QPQ done ツStacey (talk) 18:34, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
- I have probably assessed more DYKs than I have submitted, but I guess the QPQ checker doesn't work. Anyway, I have assessed yours at Template:Did you know nominations/Mary Amdur. Thanks for review and help in the article Jolly Ω Janner 03:31, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
