  • Article is new enough and long enough to qualify. It is generally well written and sourced, though the paragraph ending "especially in Pembrokeshire where seams were squeezed completely out of shape" would benefit from more references. The image seems OK and has a Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication licence. As for the hook, it is not clear what "led the world" really means. Led the world in production, in exports, in technology, or something else? Cordless Larry (talk) 17:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
I agree, I was in a hurry and the hook is a bit vague. As for the passage you mentioned, it came from Geology of South Wales (with attribution) but I must find a suitable source for the information or remove it. For the hook, how about -
I am happy with ALT2 and have now rewritten the unreferenced information in the article and provided a citation. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:18, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Good to go. Cordless Larry (talk) 06:58, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
    • Cwmhiraeth, I think the image needs to be referred to in the hook. I overlooked that. Should we add "(Senghenydd Colliery pictured)" to it? Cordless Larry (talk) 07:04, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
Let's forget the image, which is not particularly applicable to the hook. When I have time to expand the article I will hope to cover pit disasters, like the one at Senghenydd. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:30, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
