Daily Maverick
edit- ... that independent South African online newspaper Daily Maverick was influenced by defunct South African business magazine Maverick and American news websites The Daily Beast and The Huffington Post?

- Good article and good length, but the hook isn't well sourced. One source compares it to the Daily Beast (actually, mentions that others have compared it) but nothing says that it was actually inspired by the Daily Beast. A subtle difference, maybe, but significant. If we're claiming it's based on someone else's model, we should have a good source. The Daily Maverick sources don't mention it. - It was based on this sentence in the Duncan McLeod source cited: "Influenced by the Daily Beast and the Huffington Post, two popular American news websites, Brkic wants the Daily Maverick to be people’s one-stop online read." HelenOnline (talk) 14:39, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, there it is! Great! This one is a go for me. Kafziel Complaint Department: Please take a number 14:45, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
