Delftia lacustris
... that bacteria can remove carcinogenic selenite/PAHs from wastewater?- ALT1:... that the bacterium Delftia lacustris could be used in combination with a crust fungus in bioremediation of petrochemical wastewater?

- This is a pretty dubious nomination, but perhaps we can make allowances for the student editor and call it new enough and long enough. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright problems. No QPQ is needed. The hook facts are not present in the article, so I am proposing ALT1 and someone else can finish the review. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 10:46, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

- Prepared to this on the basis of a roughly 5x expansion by Dimisitque on 5 November. I've added a DYKMake template above, but I'm not sure what else might be needed. Cwmhiraeth's hook is good, although I might suggest the promoter consider adding a "the" before "bioremediation". CMD (talk) 10:22, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
