- Very interesting new article and great photo, but I think the hook could be made more interesting to match the object. To me the fact that it's one of the only five dogu that have been designated Japan's national treasures is far more interesting than where it's been exhibited. -Zanhe (talk) 23:04, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- You may well be right... Here's an alt, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 00:08, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that there are five National Treasure dogū, styled Masked Goddess, Jōmon Venus, Hollow, Jōmon Goddess, and with clasped palms (pictured)? Source: 5 National Treasures
- ALT1a: ... that five dogū have been designated National Treasures of Japan, styled Masked Goddess, Jōmon Venus, Hollow, Jōmon Goddess, and with clasped palms (pictured)?
- ALT2: ... that the dogū with palms pressed together (pictured) is one of the five dogū that have been designated National Treasures of Japan?
- ALT1 is good, but I've reworded it slightly as ALT1a for clarity, and also added ALT2 to focus on the topic at hand. All three are fine, though I prefer ALT2. Article is well written, hooks are verified with sources, photo is freely licensed and beautiful, highly recommended for the main page. QPQ is done. No copyvio detected. Good to go. (Note: I'm approving my own hooks as they do not add any new information to ALT1 proposed by the nominator). -Zanhe (talk) 21:06, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this and did some light editing on the article. I moved the measurements into the Description section; could you provide a source for those? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:12, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hello, I've added a citation for the measurements, thanks, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 22:54, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
