Dumb Woman's Lane
- ... that ex-Beatle Paul McCartney wrote a poem about Dumb Woman's Lane? Source: Paul McCartney; Paul Muldoon (2023). The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present. Liveright. ISBN 9781324094685.
- ALT1: ... that Paul McCartney wrote a poem about Dumb Woman's Lane and recited it to Spike Milligan?
- ALT2: ... that a Beatle wrote a poem about a Dumb Woman?

- Comment: ALT2 is a bit clickbaity - I'm not sure about it. Furthermore, I have considered an alternate hook could be interesting about the source of the name itself, however I am struggling to write a snappy interesting "fact" as the sources are ambiguous, with two different reasons given for the name. Suggestions welcome!

- Article checks out in terms of newness and length, don't see any sourcing, neutrality, or copyvio issues. I think the initial hook is interesting, and it checks out with the source; but do we need to specify that he was an ex-Beatle? I think most audiences would be at least tangentially familiar with Paul McCartney. Generalissima (talk) 04:05, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review @Generalissima:. How about we simplify the ALT0 hook to the proposed ALT3 below? ResonantDistortion 07:57, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- ALT3: ... that Paul McCartney wrote a poem about Dumb Woman's Lane (pictured)?
- @ResonantDistortion: this looks good! Generalissima (talk) 16:44, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
